The UC Cooperative Extension is offering a 1.5 hour seminar to present information about using the UCCE SLO County weather station network to help manage spray applications, in particular to help address the risk of spray drift.

Alternative low-cost portable tools for measuring the real-time temperature inversion conditions on site will also be presented.

Additionally attendees can engage in discussion about the operation of the weather station network, provide feedback on how it can be improved to help address grower needs, and consider options to allow the system to continue operating into the future. 

1.5 hours of DPR CE units and Certified Crop Adviser CEU's will be requested.
