Title: An overview of the Swiss wine grape industry and current innovations in plant-protection strategies and fungus-resistant grape varieties

Summary: This presentation will address the general growing conditions of wine grapes in Switzerland particularly with respect to disease conditions, and then explain the current strategies of that industry to improve disease management in grapes including the development specific disease models and the breeding of disease-resistant grape varieties.
